Kiki’s
Concept for branding of my favorite Greek restaurant in the Lower East Side / Chinatown area of New York City. I created the logo to be a nod to the restaurants decision to have no sign outside in english, but rather in written in Chinese characters to say “Kiki’s Greek Tavern” to fit into the neighborhood, so the logo is architecturally similar to the characters. Then I created a color palette and illustration library that are more reflective of natural, organic shapes and tones, rather than the stereotypical blue and white coastal vibe that most Greek restaurants fall into.
